John Wigmore

John Wigmore is a lighting designer and artist who cites natural materials, Minimalism, and the Light and Space movement of Los Angeles in the 60s and 70s as influences for his first light sculptures in 1993. He has continued to work with established architects and interior designers to build atmospheric light installations globally. His latest work is in ceramic, inspired by the clarity and restraint of Mexican Modernist Luis Barragan’s architecture, the sensitivity of Japanese tea bowls and Californian ceramic artists, which he captured in clay, Japanese paper shades and light. They are all hand-built, not slip-cast, rolled out individual slabs of clay that Wigmore pieces together almost architecturally. He lives and works in Los Angeles, where his lighting is made. He rejoined RALPH PUCCI in 2014.

Ilkka Suppanen

Ilkka Suppanen is celebrated for his continuous exploration of materials in contemporary Finnish design, and beyond. The breadth of his work ranges from industrial design, furniture, and lighting design to unique glass sculpture and fine art. Suppanen was a founding member of the groundbreaking collective Snowcrash (1997-2003), a group of creators who reframed the conventional image of Finnish design, using lightweight materials such as silvery nylon fabric, and integrating technology into furniture. The group was later hailed as the reinventors of Scandinavian design. Ilkka has exhibited work around the world, and now lives in Italy, with studios in Helsinki and Milan.

Kevin Walz

Kevin Walz is an artist and designer who lives and works in New York. He studied Fine Arts at the Pratt Institute and the New York Studio School. Walz’s furniture designs begin with fine natural materials, such as hardwoods, cork, glass, and metals, which are then combined with resins, carbon fiber and new technologies and processes to allow for thin profiles, fluid forms, and tactile, resilient surfaces. Walz is the recipient of the Rome Prize and is in the Interior Design Magazine Hall of Fame. His art and designs have been exhibited in galleries and museums in North America and Europe. He joined RALPH PUCCI in 2003.
