March 2021

Presenting RALPH PUCCI (factory): a new concept floor in our Manhattan headquarters. The renovation of the 11th floor marks the first transformation of the space since RALPH PUCCI moved from SoHo to 18th Street in 1992. Never before have visitors been able to view the (sculpture studio) where our in-house collections are transformed from sketch to reality, or the factory where the mannequins and designs are manufactured.

The elevators to the 10,000 square-foot floor open revealing glass garage doors behind which resident sculptor Michael Evert works in a western-facing studio, often accompanied by our guest designers to create their unique visions in PUCCI’s proprietary, and outdoor suitable, Plasterglass. Currently Patrick Naggar is “in session” working on his fifth design in the material. Other artists who have collaborated thus far have included Paul Mathieu, John Koga, Eric Schmitt, Olivier Gagnere, and Alexander Loge.

The new works to be unveiled at the (factory): Seventeen oversize sculptures by ceramicist Abigail Ozora Simpson, two new John Koga Plasterglass chairs, one dining and one lounge, both quintessentially playful; eleven monumental pieces in wood by Stefan Bishop; seven pieces by Richard Meier Light; and photographs by longtime PUCCI collaborator photographer Antoine Bootz capturing PUCCI’s history of decades of mannequin molds.
